Internships
Throughout my life, I have worked in a multicultural environment, interacting with government representatives, supranational institutions, stakeholders, suppliers, NGOs and authorities from all over the world. My experience in International Relations goes beyond my studies and professional career; it also extends to my enriching internships.
UNESCO (Paris)
During my internship at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, I participated in working group meetings and drafted reports on cultural diplomacy actions; I analysed documents and oral interventions, and researched and wrote reports.
Representation of the European Commision in Madrid
I did an internship at the European Commission Representation in Madrid, where I compiled and structured information on the Structural Funds in Spain; researched recent reforms of the Spanish legal system and drafted reports on specific topics requested by the Commission's headquarters in Brussels.
Romanian Parliament (Bucharest)
On the other hand, I did an internship in the Romanian Parliament as an advisor to MP Traian Dobrinescu (for six months), dealing with issues related to cultural and publishing legislation in different European countries, as well as research on different funding models for cultural institutions, NGOs, writers' organisations and publishing houses. One of the most relevant results of this experience was an extensive comparative analysis of European cultural policies.
Romanian National Radio (Bucharest)
Before graduating from the University of Alicante, I received an Erasmus+ scholarship for an internship at the Romanian National Radio, where I analysed Romanian political issues, prepared summaries for international events and worked as a sports news correspondent and broadcaster.
McCann PR Romania (Bucharest)
I also completed an internship at McCann PR, part of the McCann Group in Romania —an affiliate of Weber Shandwick—, focusing on acquiring PR skills, including advertising campaigns.
Romanian Embassy in Spain (Madrid)
My first internship experience was at the Romanian Embassy in Madrid, where I learned to analyse and select press releases related to political issues and international relations between Romania and Spain.
International Conferences
Last but not least, during my university years I was the coordinator of a local delegation of an international student association, which allowed me to participate in international conferences, UN simulations (MUNs) and to organise integration activities at national level
Cultural and Sport Activities
On the other hand, I have participated in numerous cultural and sporting activities. I have been a volunteer at the WTA Bucharest Open 2016, I have been collaborating with the Sports Service of the University of Alicante since 2004 organising the inter-university championships and I have been a member of the organising committee of several translation and interpreting conferences at the University of Alicante. I have also collaborated with the Aulas de Teatro de la Universidad de Alicante in the organisation of national and international shows and I have worked as a sound and audiovisual technician. I am the Community Manager of the cultural association ARIPI and the multilingual storytelling project CUENTACUARENTENAS.
